You couldn't be closer to the centre of Paris in this beautiful apartment situated on the 'Quai du Louvre', just opposite the 'Pont Neuf' (or the new bridge), which is ironically the oldest bridge of the city, built by Henri IV and inaugurated by him in 1607. For a long time it was the largest bridge and was unusual in that it was the first bridge to be constructed uniquely for use as a thoroughfare, without any habitations as were all the other bridges in Paris at the time.
Many of the city's most famous tourist attractions, such as the Louvre or Notre dame cathedral, are within a stone's throw and the apartment is decorated with great taste to make your stay a real pleasure.
This beautifully decorated apartment is situated on the second floor of a building with a security code in the style of Baron Haussman, (19 th century). There are antiques, orginal artwork, the floors are wooden parquet and there are two beautiful marble fireplaces. When you enter the apartment there is an entrance corridoor to the left. The kitchen is just opposite the entrance, a large kitchen for Paris, with a small table to enjoy meals. It is equipped with a Washer/ no dryer, gas cooker, microwave, an expresso coffee maker and a dishwasher.
At the end of the corridor, you have the master bedroom to your right, with a queen-size bed, a small desk and plenty of storage space. The master bedroom gives on to a quiet courtyard in the back of the building. The other side of the entrance hall, gives on to the living room, with the bathroom to your right and separate toilet to your left. The living room has a balcony looking out over the Seine and the Pont Neuf, it also has a beautiful 19th century marble fireplace, large plasma flatscreen television with cable connection, comfortable couches and a library full of art and fashion books. There is also a dining table with seating for four guests.
Passing through the living room, you have a beautiful front bedroom with twin beds also overlooking the Seine and adorned with a beautiful marble fireplace and plenty of storage.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, the wc is separate. The apartment is of course equipped with high speed wifi internet connection, cable television and free calls to landlines in many countries around the world.
