This bright 35 sq. metre (376 sq.feet) apartment is on the fourth floor of a beautiful eighteenth century building. It has two large south-facing windows in the living room and there are is a large space in front so that it is bathed in sunlight for a large part of the day, it has just been renovated to the highest standards and with much taste; oak parquet floors, beautiful Italian tiles original artwork and a mix of antique and contemporary design furniture makes this studio an ideal, peaceful haven to find when you come home after a long day out discovering this beautiful city. It is also ideally situated in the north of the Marais, within walking distance to many famous Paris landmarks: the Pompidou centre, Hotel de Soubise Rohan (an incredible 18th century mansion housing a part of the national archives) the musee Carnavalet, former home to Madame de Sevigne and now the museum of the city of Paris. There is a great market street called rue de Bretagne just up the street too, which has become a trendy new area, with art galleries, fashion shops and tons of good restaurants and terraced cafes to people-watch in, while you sip a cafe creme.
You get to the apartment by a beautiful 18th century staircase adding to the old world charm of the building.
Once inside the apartment, there is a long entrance hallway, with plenty of storage space in hidden cupboards to your left and a large washing machine/dryer combo (6kg capacity for wash and 3kg for the dryer).
To your right just before you come into the living space there is a beautiful bathroom with a sliding door, mosaic glass tiles, a suspended wc, sink and a large glass-doored shower with shower head and hand-held hose shower.
The living area is equipped with a queen-sized bed that can be separated to have two twins. There is a Marble-topped dining table from Knoll, with seating for two, a hi-fi system and a flat-screened television
On the other side of the living area is a well-equipped kitchen with a vitroceramic cooker with two hubs, a mini-oven, a two drawered refrigerator, sink and plenty of pots, pans, crockery and utensils to make a small meal.
There is, of course high-speed internet, with wifi connection and a telephone with free calls to landlines in many countries around the world and cell phones in the USA and Canada.
