This beautiful apartment 60 sq. metre apartment is situated on the third floor (with an elevator) of a well-kept Haussmanian building built in the 19th Century. In the afternoon it is bathed in light coming from the large garden on the other side of the street and has original oak parquet floors, large windows and a decorative white marble fireplace.
The area is very safe, with wonderful food stores and you are within walking distance to landmarks, such as the church of Saint Sulpice (Da Vinci code), the Invalides (with the tomb of Napoleon), the musee Rodin, or the Pagode; a Chinese pagoda transformed into a cinema, lesser known, but well worth the visit. The Hotel Matignon (the residence of the French Prime Minister) and many other government buildings are just around the corner.
The apartment has an entrance hall which has doors opening to all the rooms. To your left you have the double living room with a separate dining area. The living area has a comfortable sofa-bed which can comfortably accomodate two additional guests, a large flatscreen television and a view over the gardens opposite. The dining area has a table which seats four, or six if you put the table extension on.
To the right of the entrance as you walk in, is the kitchen, which is very well fitted with everything that you might need to make a good meal; a main oven, a smaller extra oven/grill, a microwave oven, a vitroceramic cooker with three hubs, a large refrigerator with freezer compartment, a dishwasher and a washing machine (no dryer).
After the kitchen on the right is the wc and after that you have the bedroom giving on to the quiet courtyard of the building, with its ensuite bathroom, with a shower and sink.
The apartment is of course equipped with high-speed internet with a wifi connection, cable television and free telephone calls to landlines in most countries around the world as well as cell phones in the USA and Canada.
