We have been told that Josephine de Beauharnais (the wife and great love of Napoleon Bonaparte) once lived in the building where this beautiful two bedroom apartment is situated......who knows. All we can say is that it is a beautiful eighteenth century building situated in the heart of Paris, just a few blocks from the Opera Garnier and not far from the Palais Royal. The proportions of the apartment are wonderful with its very high ceilings, large sunlit windows, exquisite marble fireplaces and oak wood floors.

This 75 sq. meter (807 sq.ft) apartment was entirely renovated and decorated in August 2008 with the finest fixtures, fittings and artwork. The entrance hall opens to a large open space with a large living area to your left and a high quality fitted kitchen to your right, the dining area is between the two.

The living area is decorated with designer furniture and equipped with a large flatscreen television equipped with DVD player, home cinema and cable connection. The marble-top dining table seats four and the kitchen with its granite surfaces and wood cupboards is equipped with a gas stove with four burners, an electric oven, microwave oven, refrigerator with separate freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.

There are two large bedrooms, one with a large queen-sized (160cm*200cm) and the other with twin beds that can be joined or left separate.

The large bathroom is fitted with large black stone tiles and chrome fixtures by Grohe. There is a large bath with shower fittings, a large double sink, suspended toilet, chrome towel heater and washing machine/dryer combo.
