INSTRUCTIONS ON ARRIVAL

 

So, you've booked your apartment, maybe some extra’s, you’ve given your arrival details in the rental contract and you’ve received your confirmation e-mail from Special Apartments.

What’s the next step?

When you are ready to travel, make sure that you have the telephone number of our manager, (When you phone from abroad that will be 00 33 6 60 52 55 90 and when you phone from France 06 60 52 55 90), and the address of the apartment, which we will be in the rental contract that we sent you.

If for any reason, there is a flight or train delay, it is very important to contact us at this number from your departure point, so that we can organize accordingly. If you do not, you may have to wait longer than expected to be welcomed at the apartment and you will incur an extra service charge (20€).

As soon as you have all your baggage and you are ready to leave the airport or train station, phone us at the number above to inform us that you are ready and how you are planning to come in to Paris (Shuttle, bus, train or taxi). We will be able to calculate your estimated arrival time at the apartment.

One of our representatives will be at the apartment to welcome you if your arrival is within working hours. If no-one is there, don’t panic, somebody will arrive shortly (we cannot always guaranty to be there at exactly the same time as you, as the journey from the airport to Paris can be variable, depending on traffic etc.)

Our representative, will then welcome you in your apartment, answer any questions you may have, leave you a welcome note which will explain everything that you need to know and give you the contract that you sent us with a receipt for the deposit and the balance of your credit card transaction.

 

What if I’m arriving outside working hours and I haven’t ordered a welcome service?

What about if I’m coming by car?

When you are ready to travel, make sure that you have the telephone number of our manager, (When you phone from abroad that will be 00 33 6 60 52 55 90 and when you phone from France 06 60 52 55 90), the address of  our office and of the apartment, which we will be in the rental contract that we sent you.

If you are coming to Paris by car (within working hours or you have ordered a welcome at the apartment outside working hours), you will have notified us of your expected arrival in the rental contract that you have sent us. When you arrive in Paris, please give us a phone call and notify us of where you are exactly, so that we can estimate your arrival time at the apartment together. It is very important that you keep us informed as to your whereabouts and any delays, since with traffic conditions, arrival times can vary enormously. Any un-notified delays will incur an extra service charge (10 euros for every half hour).

The same applies for an arrival with no welcome, except that you will be passing by our office or another designated address.
