This Marais rental studio, with its high oak-beamed ceilings and large windows, has been entirely redecorated in a classic French style and offers a central location for this much demanded fourth arrondissement of Paris. The Marais is the historical heart of Paris, where many ancient mansions, or 'Hotels Particuliers', were built for the aristocracy in the middle ages. The Marais boasts wonderful museums, such as the Picasso Museum, the Musee Carnavalet and the Pompidou center; the area is lively, with many restaurants, cafes and bars and interesting shops and boutiques. You will be only a 5-10 minute walk from the cathedral of Notre Dame, the very heart of Paris. The metro stop ‘Hotel de Ville’, which can take you quickly to the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, the Champs-Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe is just at the end of the street.

The apartment is on the second floor (accessed by a small narrow staircase) and is 29 square meters or 312 square feet, plus a mezzanine double bed, giving an additional 5 square meters.

When you walk into the apartment there is a little entrance area, with the wall of the mezzanine to your left and the living area in front of you.

The living area has a sofa-bed which can comfortably sleep a third guest, a coffee table some classic French armchairs and a dining table with seating for four guests. There is also a flatscreen television with cable connection, incorporated DVD player (for European zone) and a small hifi system.

The mezzanine is accessed by a wood staircase and has a double mattress (140cm x 190cm), with a protective bannister.

There is plenty of storage space underneath the mezzanine, where you can stock your clothes and behind the mezzanine is the kitchen and bathroom.

The well-equipped kitchen has an electric stove, microwave and washing machine/dryer combi.

The bathroom which was recently renovated, has a shower, sink, toilet and a hairdryer.

There is, of course, high-speed internet cable and wifi connection and free telephone calls to all the countries listed below.
