A Newly refurbished duplex apartment, ideally situated on the beautiful Ile Saint Louis, with a private elevator opening directly into the apartment, a cosy, sunny living room with decorative fireplace and the upstairs bedroom with views over the whole of Paris and giving on to its own private roof terrace.

This charming duplex apartment is perfectly situated on the beautiful Ile Saint louis, in the heart of Paris; the island was home to Camille Claudel, Baudelaire, Voltaire and Marie Curie and many celebrities even today still elect Ile Saint Louis as their home. From here you can explore some of the most famous and exquisite sites in the capital and when you've had a long day about town, enjoy a glass of Champagne on the roof terrace, with a wonderful view of the Paris skyline.

The 55 sq. metre ( 592 sq. ft.) apartment is situated on the sixth and seventh floor of a 17th century building, with a private lift that arrives directly into the apartment. It has central gas heating and there is a possiblity of an individual air conditioning unit (with a supplement). The living room has two windows which are south-facing, so it is very sunny and looks over the rue Saint Louis en l'isle; there are wood floors, a decorative fireplace, a sofa, comfortable seating, flatscreen television with cable channels, cd/radio player and a table with four chairs. There is also a well-equipped separate kitchen with a large opening on to the living room, that has a gas cooker with four hubs.

In the back of the apartment, with its east-facing window, overlooking the roofs of Paris, there is a bedroom with a queen sized bed. The bathroom with its large shower, sink, washer/dryer combo and toilet is just next to the bedroom and gives on to the entrance hall, we have just redone the bathroom (pictures coming soon).

From the entrance there is a staircase which leads up to the second terrace bedroom with a double bed. Over the bed is a window overlooking the south of the city, with magnificent views of Notre Dame and the Pantheon. In front of the bed are large sliding glass doors giving on to a roof terrace with views as far as the Bastille and the Tour Saint Jacques (It's from there that pilgrims would start on the pilgrimage of St. Jacques de Compostelle).
