It is situated on the third walk-up floor of a building in the northern part of the marais, next to the Square du Temple; a beautiful garden where once stood the city of the Knights Templar and the last prison of Louis XVI before his execution at the Guillotine in 1792. You are two steps away from a great market street on rue de Bretagne with wonderful shops, restaurants and cafes. The area is also filled with some of the best art galleries, book shops and vintage furniture shops of the capital.

The apartment itself is 38 sq. meters (410 sq. ft) with original oak-beamed ceilings, tainted waxed cement flooring in the living room and coconut fibre carpeting in the bedroom. The living room, with its convertible sofa bed, comfortable 50's settees, flat screened television with cable connection, looks on to the rue Charlot, a very calm residential street.
