This stylishly modern studio apartment to rent is ideally situated on the Ile Saint Louis, in a modern building built in the 1960's. It is on the 7th floor with an elevator and has a large double window with a view over the whole of the east of Paris. Ile Saint Louis is a perfect base for sightseeing in Paris, it was the original island where Paris was born and was subsequently home to many of the greatest families of the kingdom who built some of the most beautiful homes of the capital there. A must-see is the baroque church of Saint Louis en l'isle, with its unusual holed steeple, which you can see form the apartment. Have a taste of the world famous Berthillon ice cream and sorbets who have their mothership shop there, and then wander across the bridge joining the island to the ile de la Cite, where you will be at the back end of the Notre Dame de Paris, with its magnificent flying butresses; one of the most brilliant examples of gothic midieval architecture. Another example of gothic architecture not-to-be-missed is the Sainte Chapelle, built by Saint Louis (the French King who also gave his name to the ile Saint Louis) to house the holy crown of thorns of Jesus Christ which he had bought for a fortune. It is in the same complex as the conciergerie, better known for having housed the Queen Marie-Antoinette during the last months of her life before her execution at the guillotine.

The studio is 36 sq. meters (390 sq. ft) with a large living space, wooden flooring, large double windows bathing the apartment in sunlight, a large double bed, a sofa, coffee table and a knoll dining table with seating for four. It is equipped with a flatscreen television, with cable connection, a small hi-fi system and telephone with free calling to all the destinations listed below. There is an elevator until the 6th floor with walk-up stairs up to the next floor.

There is a separate kitchen, with a gas cooker, oven, washing machine/dryer combo, dishwasher and everything you need to make a simple meal, looking over the south of Paris.
