This sunny studio is situated in the very heart of the capital, on the Rue Saint Honoré, on the corner of Rue des Pyramides, where the golden statue of Joan of Arc is situated, and just in front of the Louvre Museum. Both ‘Place de la Concorde’ at the bottom of the ‘Champs-Elysées’ and the famous church of ‘La Madeleine’ are just a block away. It is the most elegant area of Paris, with famous fashion stores, such as Hermès, Lanvin, Gucci, Christian Dior and Chanel. The most reputable jewelers can be found around Place Vendôme (just a few blocks down the street): Cartier, Boucheron, Van Cleef and Chaumet, to name but a few. And after you have feasted your eyes on all this beauty, why not stop off at the Ritz hotel for tea! If you are a museum lover, the Louvre, the musée d’Orsay as well as the petit and the grand Palais are all a very short walk away.
This large studio is situated on the 6th floor of an elegant 19th century building that has just been renovated. It is accessible by elevator. Being on the 6th floor there is no noise from the street and it is also very calm, despite being in the heart of the city. Two large windows overlook the street and the Louvre, and the apartment has always plenty of sun light, even in winter.
The apartments entrance opens to the bathroom, by a door on your right and the main living area is straight in front of you.
The newly-renovated bathroom is equipped with a shower, wash basin, WC and a hairdryer.
On the left side of the main living area, there is a modern kitchen with all the necessary amenities to prepare fresh food : an electric cooker, fridge and freezer, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There are also plenty of closets.
The living area is furnished with carefully selected antiques: two beautiful 19th century mahogony writing desks, a Louis XVI style armchair, a dining table with 2 chairs, a Louis XV country-style large bed (140cm X 190cm), a comfortable sofa and a small antique chinese lacquer coffee table.
There is a flatscreen TV with cable connection, a high speed internet connection and a telephone with which to phone for free to fixed lines in most countries all over the world. In this apartment, you will feel the atmosphere of old time living: an old house with country atmosphere in the center of Paris!
