This beautiful one bedroom apartment is situated in the seventh arrondissement of Paris, just around the corner from the famous 'Bon Marché' department store, the first department store in the world, which was also the basis for Emile Zolas book; 'Ladies Paradise'. You are ideally situated near to Saint Germain des Pres and Saint Sulpice on one side, and the Invalides and the Eiffel tower (who's tip you can see from the living room window) on the other. Many government ministries are in the neighbourhood, such as the French Prime ministers palace, so the area is extremely safe. There are three different metro stations nearby.
The apartment is on the third floor (with an elevator) of a well-maintained 19th Century building with two security codes. It has wooden parquet floors and is 65 sq. metres (700 sq. feet).
The double living room, with its sofa-bed which can sleep two guests, coffee table, comfortable armchairs and dining room table with seating for six, looks westwards over the garden of a convent. and is bathed in sunlight in the afternoon and early evening.
The large carpeted bedroom is in the back of the apartment, looking over a very quiet courtyard with potted trees. It has a queen-sized bed and an enormous amount of storage space.
The bathroom is equipped with a small bath/shower and a sink. There is a separate toilet. Both give on to the entrance hallway of the apartment, as does the kitchen which is just opposite the living room.
